DAVIDSON HAITI PROJECT

HOW IT ALL STARTED
The Davidson Haiti Project began as a dream of Davidson and Manoucheka Pierre. Both grew up in Haiti. Davidson's mother passed away when he was seven and he became part of an orphanage and eventually came to the United States to earn his Bachelor's degree and a Masters degree. They dreamed of going back to help the poor of Haiti.
The school started small and has grown over the last several years. There are now over 400 children enrolled in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade.
A new school building has been built and classrooms are being constructed along with school offices and a worship space.

HOW CAN I HELP?
You, too, can be the hands and feet of Jesus and fulfill the command of our Father to care for those in need by helping in one or more of these ways:
-
Sponsor a child for $20 a month. This will provide them with a hot meal each day, a school uniform, shoes and a Christmas present.
-
Make a financial donation to help support the school (teacher's salaries, principal's salary, books)
-
Make a financial donation to help finish the new school building.
-
Pray for the safety of the Principal, teachers and students.
